Sami Salmenkivi (BBA, M.Sc. Econ.) is a thinker-doer and a strategist-innovator, operating at the intersections of business and marketing, communications and design. He is a forward-minded entrepreneur, a digitally-driven marketing consultant and an award-winning business author.
Sami has expertise in marketing strategies, branding and marketing executions at all levels, with specialization in digital environments. He has strong experience and a proven track record in leading teams, projects, and companies, with business, agency, and an academic background. Before setting up his own companies, Salmenkivi was a Planning Director at TBWA\elsinki, one of the most innovative and creative offices within the global TBWA network. The Gunn Report named TBWA\elsinki in the top 10 digital agencies in the world in 2013, the last year Sami worked there.
Sami also has a passion for the oceans. He has been diving and photographing the underwater world for a more than a decade, this passion has taken him to Papua onboard National Geographic's filming boat and to New York to graduate in the New York Film Academy as a documentary filmmaker trying to influence the destruction of our oceans.
